Skål International Ciudad de México celebrates its 75th Anniversary
In an atmosphere of camaraderie and celebration, Skål International Ciudad de México commemorated its 75th anniversary on 22 August 2025 with a special event at the Campo Marte facilities, bringing together local and national members for an evening full of shared anecdotes and experiences.
The event, presided over by Cristina Vázquez, President of Skål International Ciudad de México, was graced by the distinguished presence of Andrés Hayes, Vice President and President Elect 2026 of the organisation, as well as prominent past presidents such as Enrique Quesada (2012), Burcin Turkkan (2022), Juan Ignacio Steta (2023) and Annette Cárdenas (2024).
Also noteworthy was the attendance of Gabriel Larrea, President of Skål International México; Enrique Flores, Regional Director; and Marcela Camacho, General Director of Tourism Product Innovation at SECTUR Federal.
During the ceremony, Skål International Ciudad de México received a special recognition from Andrés Hayes and Gabriel Larrea, highlighting the Club’s trajectory and the importance it represents internationally within the organisation.
Awards were also presented to Skålegas from Skål International Ciudad de México with more than 40 years of membership, who have been fundamental pillars in the growth and consolidation of the Club.
In addition to this event, Skål International Ciudad de México has held its regular monthly luncheons, during which it presented a decade-by-decade timeline, gratefully remembering all the presidents who, over 75 years, have shaped the history and milestones of the current Club.
This 75th anniversary not only celebrated the history and legacy of Skål International Ciudad de México but also reaffirmed its members’ commitment to continue strengthening friendship, responsible tourism, and unity among professionals in the sector.
